Northeast Motorcycle Expo: Theo Rossi and Kim Coates “Charming” Fans in Boston

Kev-Marv Productions has a reputation for putting on a great show.  The Northeast Motorcycle Expo always brings many enthusiasts and still manages to keep that strong tight-knit feeling.  On January 12th and 13th, the number of people in attendance was especially outstanding.  The reason?  Two of FX’s hottest stars graced the stage for a meet and greet.

Theo Rossi (Juice) and Kim Coates (Tig) of FX’s Sons of Anarchy arrived in Boston to a massive crowd of serious fans.  The show has developed fans among longtime riders, as well as people who have never even sat on a bike.  The audience to meet these dynamic individuals expressed this so well.  Instead of being dichotomous, though, the crowd was so fantastically developed as one…Maybe it was the amount of time people were in line together?

Yes, folks, meeting Theo and Kim will cost.  It’s not the money.  It’s the time.  These two LOVE their fans. They love them so much, each individual who was fortunate enough to meet them felt like they had a sincerely personal experience.  The line was cut off around 1:00 PM.  By 5:00 PM, when they had a media engagement, the two insisted on staying for the remainder of fans who had waited five plus hours.

Part of the entertainment when one waits five hours is watching these stars interact with other fans as well as each other.  Each experience seemed truly meaningful.  It wasn’t the staff that was holding up the line; it was Kim, especially, wanting to make the day of every single person who went up.  By the time fans walked off the stage, they were in a complete state of awe.  Watching the two banter back-and-forth was also a treat. This wasn’t just about promotion of Sons of Anarchy, though.  Theo was able to promote Staten Strong,  a community of Staten Island natives and people all over the world coming together after Hurricane Sandy for those in need.

What’s next?  Rumor has it Ryan Hurst (Opie) and Sprague Grayden (Donna) may come to the Wilmington, MA show in March…we certainly hope, anyway.
